Chelsea boss with Zola as assistant - Maurizio Sarri agrees (Sky Sports)

Maurizio Sarri is reportedly in the midst of signing his Chelsea contract, along with Blues legend Gianfranco Zola.
According to several Sky Sport Italia journalists and its equivalent in the UK, Sarri landed in London on Friday afternoon, where he agreed to become Antonio Conte’s successor.
Furthermore, Zola will be brought in to assist the 59-year-old as he bids to make a quick transition to life in England.

The former Napoli boss is expected to put pen to paper on a two-year contract with the option for a third, worth around €6m a season.
Zola, meanwhile, scored 80 goals in 311 appearances for Chelsea between 1996 and 2003, winning two FA Cups, a League Cup, a Cup Winners’ Cup and a European Super Cup.
The ex-Partenopei and Italy forward was also voted as the club’s best-ever player by their fans towards the end of his spell at Stamford Bridge.
The pair will be joined at Chelsea by Napoli midfielder Jorginho, whose transfer is similarly imminent.
